About the product

Natura Media Vitamin D 50 µg is a vitamin D supplement for adults. One capsule contains 50 micrograms of vitamin D3. In oil capsules, the vitamin D is evenly distributed, so every capsule contains the same amount of the vitamin. In addition, because vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin, the vitamin in an oil capsule achieves the best possible absorption. The capsule shell is bovine gelatine.

Capsules and manufacturing

The capsules are small in size, making them easy to swallow. This product of ours is manufactured by our carefully selected partner in Spain. So that it suits as many people as possible, our product does not contain common allergens such as gluten or grains, milk, soy, nuts or egg.

Important vitamin D

The body produces vitamin D itself when the skin is exposed to enough sunlight. In the north during the dark season, however, we do not get enough vitamin D this way. In food, vitamin D is found most abundantly in oily fish. Vitamin D is added to some foods, e.g. cow’s milk and plant-based milk products. Vegetables contain no vitamin D. Some edible mushrooms, on the other hand, do contain it.
