Production
It is made from glucose through a natural fermentation process. For this reason, erythritol is also playfully called keto sugar.
Use
Erythritol is suitable for all sweetening just like ordinary sugar. Thanks to its crystalline structure, it is a perfect sugar substitute and works exceptionally well for baking and all kinds of sweetening. By grinding it in a high-power blender or food processor, you can turn erythritol into fine powdered sugar suitable for baking.
