Source of iron

Puhdas+ Iron uses iron bisglycinate as its source of iron, one of the best tolerated iron compounds.

Granule release

To reduce high iron concentration on the intestinal surface, the iron bisglycinate and vitamin C are packed into granules from which they are released gradually as the granules travel onward through the intestine. This way the entire amount of iron is not released in one place in the stomach or in the first part of the small intestine.
