Composition

Puhdistamo Triple Iron is a strong and versatile iron supplement. It is built on two high-quality forms of iron: iron bisglycinate and ferrous fumarate. Both iron bisglycinate and ferrous fumarate are non-heme iron in the Fe2+ form.

Lactoferrin

The third, unique component of the product is lactoferrin. Lactoferrin is a glycoprotein that itself contains a small amount of iron. Vitamin C has also been added to the product.

Measuring iron levels

The amount of iron in the body can be measured through blood tests by looking at haemoglobin and ferritin values. It is therefore recommended to always have your own iron levels measured before starting to use an iron supplement, as iron should not be consumed in excess.

Use

For the best absorption, Puhdistamo Triple Iron is best taken on an empty stomach. It is also advisable to avoid taking calcium supplements or drinking coffee and tea at the same time, as they reduce the absorption of iron.
