Product information

Natura Media Selenium 200 µg is a strong selenium supplement in vegetable capsules. The product’s Selenium SeLECT® selenomethionine is manufactured by the internationally recognised Sabinsa company in the USA. Selenomethionine is an efficiently absorbed, organic form of selenium in which the sulphur atom of the amino acid methionine has been replaced by a selenium atom. It is the most common form of selenium obtained from food.

Manufacturing

The product is made in our own production facility in Raisio, Finland. It is vegan and contains no typical allergens such as gluten or cereals, milk, soy, nuts or egg.

Selenium in food

Selenium is a trace element essential for our body. It is obtained from food such as whole grain cereals, but the selenium content of grain varies depending on how selenium-rich the soil is in which the grain has grown.
