Natura Media Monizym Alfa is an enzyme capsule containing a particularly high concentration of alpha-galactosidase enzyme, 400 GalU in every capsule. The product also contains a broad-spectrum DigeZyme® enzyme complex and pineapple powder.

Alpha-galactosidase

Monizym Alfa contains a high concentration of alpha-galactosidase, 400 GalU (i.e. enzyme units) in every capsule. This enzyme breaks down slowly digested, long-chain carbohydrates found in vegetables, beans, grains and nuts, among others. The composition of Monizym Alfa is completed by a broad-spectrum DigeZyme® enzyme complex.

DigeZyme® complex

The DigeZyme® enzyme complex in Monizym Alfa contains several different enzymes that break down cellulose, starch, lactose, proteins and fats in a versatile way. The enzyme preparation can be used with normal meals, as needed.

Enzyme activity

The enzymes in Monizym Alfa capsules remain active across the various pH ranges of the digestive tract (pH 3-9) and tolerate body heat well.

Manufacture and suitability

Natura Media’s Monizym Alfa is manufactured at Natura Media’s own production facility in Raisio, Finland. The product is entirely plant-based, making it suitable for a vegan diet as well. We wanted to ensure that our product suits as many people as possible – which is why it contains no typical allergens such as gluten, grains, milk or milk derivatives, yeast, egg, soy or nuts, and no preservatives or colourings either.
