About the product

Natura Media’s Vitamin B12 provides a high dose of 1000 µg of vitamin B12 in the methylcobalamin form, a well-absorbed, bioidentical form of vitamin B12. In the bioidentical form, the vitamin has the same molecular structure as in food and is ready for the body to use.

MecobalActive® ingredient

MecobalActive® methylcobalamin is manufactured in Spain by HealthTech BioActives (HTBA). The company is one of the few and most significant producers of this vitamin in Europe. Production emphasises “green chemistry”, meaning more environmentally friendly manufacturing methods, and the company’s products are GMP certified.

Manufacturing and composition

We manufacture Natura Media’s Vitamin B12 capsules at our own production facility in Raisio, Finland. The product is vegan and gluten-free, and contains no common allergens such as cereals, milk, soy, nuts or egg. The capsules contain nothing unnecessary: in addition to vitamin B12, they include only a small amount of Sunfiber® fibre to ensure even blending. Sunfiber® is guar bean fibre that is FODMAP-friendly and very well tolerated.

B12 and a vegan diet

In the diet, vitamin B12 is obtained only from animal-based products, so when following a vegan diet, vitamin B12 must come from other sources. Natura Media’s B12 1000 µg capsules are an excellent daily vitamin B12 supplement for vegans as well.
