Active Ingredient
The main active ingredient in this fragrance-free cream is ozonated shea butter. In terms of its structure, shea butter closely resembles olive oil. Shea butter contains more stearic acid than olive oil, which is why it stays solid even at room temperature. Stearin also firms up the cream itself, so it hardly separates at all, which in turn improves its shelf life. During ozonation, shea butter becomes even firmer, so it is not suitable for use as such. As an active ingredient in a moisturiser like this, however, it is ideal.
Other Ingredients
This cream also contains plant-derived squalane, which is an excellent moisturiser and helps the ozonated fat absorb faster and deeper. Betaine and other water-soluble humectants either bind moisture from the air or prevent it from escaping. In addition, this cream contains a few ingredients that help maintain its texture.
No Preservatives
They contain no separate preservatives, since microbes are killed by the effect of the ozonated fat, making additional preservatives unnecessary. Although this White Swan cream is not entirely pure natural cosmetics, it contains no parabens, silicones or other ill-reputed ingredients.
Use and Packaging
The cream can safely be used regularly, even several times a day. The product is sold in an airless pump bottle.
