What Is Ubiquinone
Ubiquinone, or coenzyme Q10, is a fat-soluble, vitamin-like substance found naturally in every cell of the body, mainly in the cells’ power plants, the mitochondria. It plays an important role in cellular energy metabolism and in the formation of ATP. Ubiquinone is most abundant in the organs with the highest energy demand: the heart, kidneys, liver and muscles.
