Saaren Taika Tar Balm contains genuine Finnish pit-burned tar. The tar balm can be used on facial skin, lips, body, hands and feet. Saaren Taika Tar Balm combines this genuine Finnish tar with almond oil and shea butter, and it can be used on the face, lips, body, hands and feet. The tar balm is suitable for all skin types, especially for use on chafed areas, rashes, dry patches of skin, dry heels and so on.

Genuine Pit-Burned Tar

The tar used in the balm is genuine Finnish pine tar made in an earth pit, which has held a firm place in Finnish folk medicine and was in the old days used for almost all wound care, from amputations onwards. Saaren Taika Tar Balm also contains almond oil and shea butter.

Scent and Texture

Saaren Taika Tar Balm smells of tar, and no other fragrances have been used in it. The tar balm, or tar salve, spreads easily and absorbs quickly.
