What Is the Curly Girl Method?

In the Curly Girl method, hair is cared for with products that do not contain silicones, sulfates or alcohols, among other things. This strengthens the hair’s natural movement and creates gorgeous curls without curling!

Following the Method

In the Curly Girl method, the aim is to wash the hair less often, and the main focus of hair care is moisturising and leaving the hair untouched (e.g. by a curling iron or other heat treatments that stress and wear the hair). The Curly Girl method also spares the hair from combing or brushing, and the strands are preferably worked through with the fingers or a wide-tooth comb, for example in the shower while the conditioner is in the hair.

About the Ingredients

The conditioner contains sea buckthorn extract and soapwort extract. Soapwort is a natural cleansing herbal extract that, thanks to its gentleness and caring properties, is especially suited to curly hair. Camellia oil is rich in omega fatty acids. Kerascalp is a water-free active ingredient whose effect is based on the traditional Ayurvedic plant (Phyllanthus emblica).
