Who it’s for

Do you suffer from itching, rashes or irritated skin? Itching often occurs when the skin’s protective barrier has weakened and the skin becomes dry and irritated, in which case an ordinary moisturiser isn’t always enough.

How it’s made

We make this handcrafted balm in small batches in Salo and always deliver it fresh to our customers. Saaren Taika Chamomile Shea Butter is proven to be biodegradable.

Vegan

Shea butter is entirely plant-based; it is pressed from the nuts of the shea tree (Butyrospermum Parkii). Our balm is vegan and cruelty-free, and contains no ingredients of animal origin.

Scent

We use unbleached shea butter, which retains its natural nutty scent. The refining process that removes the scent also destroys shea butter’s most important skin-caring components – vitamins, antioxidants, flavonoids and terpenes. The scent is therefore a sign that the shea butter is unprocessed and at its best.

Shelf life

Our unprocessed, cold-pressed organic oils contain no artificial preservatives, which may shorten the shelf life compared with conventional creams.
