Composition

Puhdistamo Optimal Vege Protein is a high-quality plant-based 80% protein made by blending whole grain rice protein and pea protein together. Optimal Vege is a completely natural protein powder made without any compromises.

Amino acid profile

Rice protein is in itself an excellent, well-absorbed plant-based protein with an almost complete amino acid profile. One amino acid in rice protein remains low, however, and that is lysine. Lysine, in turn, is found especially in legumes such as peas. By combining these two good protein sources, the amino acid composition becomes complete.
