Why not organic

Back when we were looking for the right coconut water for our range, we went through dozens of different options from around the world, and not a single organic-quality option met our taste requirements or the demand of the market. The process took almost two years, and in the end we settled on our coconut water — today the most popular in Finland — which matched organic-quality coconut water in purity, yet still tasted first-rate. It’s worth remembering that organic doesn’t always guarantee the highest possible quality, let alone taste.

Why a can

They are 100% recyclable. Cans are also extremely environmentally friendly and energy-efficient in their recycling process, as there’s no need to separate cardboard, plastic and aluminium from one another. Thanks to their very high recycling potential, they also significantly reduce the amount of waste and thereby the amount of harmful microplastics ending up in waterways. Aluminium can be recycled almost endlessly. Manufacturing a can for reuse takes only 5% of the energy of the initial production process. Being BPA-tested, we know cans are also a clean option. They’re effortless for the consumer to recycle either through metal collection or bottle return. Thanks to the can’s light weight, the carbon footprint from logistics is very small compared with, for example, a glass alternative, which also breaks easily. And a drink simply tastes so much better from a chilled can!
