What is Bio-C-Zinc™?

Bio-C-Zinc™ is a pleasant-tasting lozenge containing organic zinc and natural vitamin C from acerola cherry extract. The lozenge dissolves in the mouth and quickly releases vitamin C and zinc onto the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract. Manufactured in accordance with pharmaceutical quality standards.

What is acerola cherry?

The acerola cherry is a large (2–3 cm) cherry-like berry with a stone inside. There are several different acerola species, and they are grown in South America and the Caribbean. The berry of the wild acerola cherry is often sour, but cultivated acerola cherries usually have a pleasantly sweet taste. Bio-C-Zinc contains an extract made from acerola cherry.

Vitamin C content

Acerola cherry is exceptionally rich in vitamin C, with as much as 1500–3000 mg per 100 grams. For comparison, 100 grams of orange contains 40–50 mg of vitamin C.
