The Vitex capsules from Natura Media’s Luonnosta range contain 100 mg of chaste tree extract in a single vegetable capsule. Chaste tree extract is intended for women of all ages – from early adulthood all the way to menopause.

Origin and Harvesting

Natura Media’s Vitex chaste tree capsules are made in Finland. The chaste tree (Vitex agnus-castus L.), also known as monk’s pepper, grows wild in the Mediterranean region. The chaste tree berries used in the Vitex capsules are gathered from wild shrubs using sustainable methods. The berries are picked gently without damaging the plants, so they keep bearing fruit year after year. During the flowering season, the shrubs’ purple blossoms also provide nourishment for pollinators and butterflies.

Responsible Harvest

The harvesting is carried out by a local community trained in sustainable working methods, and the pickers are paid more fairly than the general income level. The berries are then processed into the final product in Italy.

Packaging

Natura Media’s Vitex chaste tree extract capsules are packed in jars made from 100% recycled PET plastic. Their PET plastic comes from recycled beverage bottles, and its properties are just right – strong enough to protect the delicate powder capsules. The jar’s cap is aluminium, which is famously very easy to recycle endlessly.

Extract capsules from Natura Media’s Luonnosta range, strength 100 mg of chaste tree extract per capsule, of which 0.6 mg is aucubin. Contents 60 capsules / 24.8 grams. Vitex chaste tree extract is lactose-free and gluten-free, and the capsule is a plant-based Vege capsule.
