Composition

One vegetable capsule of Natura Media Copper contains 2.5 mg of copper bisglycinate. The bisglycinate form is an amino acid chelate in which copper is bound to two glycine molecules. This form of copper has good absorption in the body.

Production and Suitability

The product is made at our own production facility in Raisio. It is completely gluten-free and plant-based, making it suitable for a vegan diet as well, and it contains none of the typical allergens such as cereals, soy, milk, egg or nuts.

Dietary sources of copper include liver and seafood, certain mushrooms as well as whole grains and nuts.

Effect of Zinc

Zinc may impair the optimal absorption of copper in the body. If you use a supplement containing zinc, it is advisable to take it at a different time than the copper supplement to prevent this effect.
