Natura Media’s Vitamin B5 contains 250 mg of vitamin B5, or pantothenic acid, in every capsule. The vitamin B5 in the product is in the form of calcium D-pantothenate, which is readily absorbed and ready for the body to use.

Manufacturing and suitability

The product is made at our own production facility in Raisio, Finland. It is entirely plant-based, meaning it is also suitable for a vegan diet, and it contains no common allergens such as gluten, cereals, soy, nuts or milk.

Vitamin B5 in food

Vitamin B5 is a vitamin essential to the body. Varying amounts of vitamin B5 are obtained from the diet in almost all foods, but certain types of processing reduce its content. Frying meat and freezing foods lower their vitamin B5 content. In whole grains, pantothenic acid is most abundant in the outer layer, such as bran, which means that processing grains into highly refined flours reduces their vitamin B5 content.
