Biotin

Biotin, or vitamin B7, is a water-soluble vitamin that is necessary for the body, also known as vitamin H. It is not stored in the body, but excess biotin leaves the body with urine.

Sources of biotin

Good sources of biotin in food are e.g. egg (especially the yolk), liver, yeast and soybeans. Intestinal microbes also produce biotin for the body’s needs.

High dose

Evonia ® Strong Biotin contains a high dose of biotin, 10 000 micrograms/tablet. A high dose of biotin consumed as a dietary supplement may significantly distort some laboratory results. If possible, it is recommended to take a break of at least one day before the laboratory tests.
